Culloden

Culloden is best known as the most poignant battlefield site in Scotland. This windswept, vast moorland was the location of Britain’s last homegrown battle marking a major turning point in Scottish history.

Visitors can walk freely amongst the battle site, clan graves and detailed exhibition centre.

Let the cinematic thoughts run wild and imagine the battle that took place here. The flat, open land of the Culloden Moor was terribly out of the ordinary for the Highlanders' courageous style of steep hill ambush and resulted in some 1500 thousand highlanders being slaughtered.
