Drumnadrochit

Drumnadrochit is not far from being a dedicated theme park to the Loch Ness Monster.

Despite the stunning situation of Drumnadrochit, above the electric green landscape and sheltered bay of Loch Ness, the major focus here is our beloved Nessie!

A collection of rather tacky souvenir shops and competitive monster exhibitions is about all there is within the town.

The trademark image of Castle Urquhart can be seen for the real deal just outside of Drumnadrochit. Although this site is flooded with tourists, it is a spectacular ruin and worth a look.
