Set on the stunning Loch Linnhe below Ben Nevis (Britains highest peak), Fort Willliam is surrounded by clean air, rich history and unspoilt beaches.
However, make sure you are not a city dweller, as the real-deal beauty is not found within the immediate town.
Not so far a field; travellers can immerse themselves in the wealth of fantastic scenery and activities on offer in the Highlands. From any given location you need only travel 20 minutes to be in the thick of desolate countryside.
