Glen Coe is wonderful lonesome Scottish Highlands at their finest - almost entirely devoid of human impression, big broad valleys sink between the brooding peaks. And this of course makes it prime walking and hiking territory, with some of the most specatcular scenery and best walks in Britain.
Despite its popularity, you can still have the mountains to yourself as you wander and step back, if only for a few hours, from the hubbub of daily life. Some walks are given below, but there is a helpful visitor centre in Glencoe with specific route information as well as offering guided walks at all levels.
Challenge yourself on the follwing walks - Devil's Staircase, Buachaille Etive Beah circuit, Allt Coire Gabhail, Bidean nam Bian or Aonach Eagach Ridge Walk.
