The Knoydart Peninsula

To reach the main centre of the peninsula it begins with either a two-day hike through rugged and steep moorland, sleeping along the way in makeshift stone abodes or taking a boat from Mallaig or Glenelg.

The pleasure here is in the adventure. Walkers will be delighted by the well marked walking tracks and fantastic trails that cover the area. The landscape here is fairly inhospitable, however visitors will find a touch of civilisation in Inverie.
