Herne Bay

Herne Bay offers great sea fishing and sailing and if you need access to a boat you should try Chartered Fishing Trips, based in Central Parade or Wildlife Sailing Trips at Neptunes Arm Slipway for seal and bird watching excursions.

There is a lovely 5-mile coastal walk that goes from Herne Bay eastwards to Reculver Country Park, where you will find the remains of both a Roman fort and Saxon church.
