Middleton-on-sea is a small village, which in the Arun District of West Sussex, it lies along the south coast east of Bognor Regis, and in the 20th century was a popular seaside resort.
Middleton's name may refer to the manor's central position, which is between Felpham and either Elmer or Cudlow in Climping.
The village has a lovely pub, "The Beresford Arms" named after Viscount William Beresford, where you can get great food and expect a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
