The quiet and bonny resort of Aberaeron used to be a busy shipbuilding port but these days boasts fleet of fishing and sailing vessels. Pretty pastel buildings surround the harbour and rock pools teem with prawns and shrimps.
This is great country for a walking holiday, as inland you’ll find miles and miles of the beautiful Aeron and Teifi valleys. If you can manage a climb of just over 1,000ft. You will be rewarded with some lovely views from the Trichrug Mountain.
You can happily pass some time at the Sea Aquarium on Quay Parade and a trip to the kitchen gardens at nearby Llanerchaeron is well worth the effort.
