Keynsham is the area’s most sizeable place and lies exactly between Bristol and Bath near the rivers Avon and Chew.
The town’s main business revolved around J S Fry’s chocolate factory, though it is now owned by Cadbury, this is the place where the much loved Fry’s chocolate cream and Turkish delight hail from.
Avon Valley Country Park is a picturesque setting which is perfect for picnics and relaxing. There is a miniature railway, which offers steam train rides and also a petting zoo. There is also a boating lake which can be used at your leisure.
