Sark is very popular for it's peace and tranquillity, many tourists appreciate the picturesque scenery and abundance of wildflowers and sea birds.
Sark is Europe's only remaining feudal state. There are no cars allowed on the island and no street-lighting so expect to travel by horse and cart or tractor, no traffic gives it a unique, enchanted feel, which brings visitors back year after year. The seigneur, Michael Beaumont rules with laws dating back to Elizabethan times.
Sark has two small harbours on it's east coast, Maseleine is for commercial boats only and Creux is available to private boats where they can stock up supplies and re-fuel.
