South Molton is as far off the beaten track as you could get and unlike the rest of the West Country the town is completely unaffected by tourism.
The town’s main economy is derived from sheep and cattle trading and it is undoubtedly one of the most rural market towns in the region.
That said; South Molton is not without beauty spots and places of historical interest. The impressively high situation of the town offers great surrounding views from pretty much anywhere you may be standing.Photos
