Wailua

Caught in the hustle and bustle of Eastside Kaua’i is Wailua, with shopping complexes, malls, condo’s and commerce competing with coastal coconut groves and a mountainous backdrop for attention.

Wailua River, the only navigable river in Hawaii, unwinds its course through the nearby State Park and adds to the excitement by affording other kinds of water sports amid the flourishing industry it generates. Naturally the region lends itself to a plethora of activities with waterfalls and hiking trails as well as the impossibly romantic, absolutely exotic locations of many a Hollywood film to boot!
