    The walk from town up and around the lighthouse is a really good workout. Tip- if your feeling energetic take a left at the Pass turn off and go up around the stairs. For an easier run take the road all the way up and come back down the stairs- the view over Wategos is awesome.

      And when you get sick of the beach, Bangalow is a gorgeous little village just down the road from Byron - with some good shops, food and coffee. Worth a morning's poke around.

        Make sure to watch the sunset from The Pass Lookout. Take a picnic and watch the surfers against a backdrop of Mt Warning and the beautiful Bay.
