Point Peron

Located at Peron, this long stretch of land at the southern end of Cockburn Sound has for years been popular for holiday camps both for school children and social clubs.

The beach at the end of Point Peron is ideal for small children and the rocky sections of coastline and small bays are fun to explore.

There is a heavy-duty boat ramp with wash down facilities near the causeway to the naval support facility on Garden Island. Visit the World War II gun lookout.
