Ascot Racecourse is located only 8 kilometres north of Perth and is the state's heart of horse racing. The 2000 metre track incorporates a 300 metre uphill straight regarded by experts as the toughest test of stayers in Australia. The majestic committee buildings and grandstand were built at the turn of the century, and the course had a 4 million dollar upgrade in 1995.
Ascot boasts 9 superb alfresco dining and bar facilities. Including the Terrace Restaurant, which has a prime position overlooking the racetrack. The venue caters for all types of functions in the selection of restaurants, marquees and function rooms.
