    Look out for dolphins, wedgetail eagles, osprey, seals, whales, echidna, wallabies, kangaroos. Kurrajongs, wrens, finches and silver eyes chatting around the house. Just a few minutes drive from the house you'll find beautiful sandy beaches perfect for swimming and fishing.

    Local Area
    Small Cornish style town overlooking the South Australian mainland. It is situated on the north east coast of Dudley Peninsula, and is the closest Kangaroo Island point to the mainland (16km) and ferry connection. This area of the island has many unique features, not seen by those who are on short itineraries. The Sunset Winery has a great platter of local foods to try. Fascinating history adventure stories at the Penneshaw Museum and Cape Willoughby lighthouse .Incredible Antechamber Bay and Pennington Bay with pristine beaches and dramatic coast. Penneshaws Penquin colony information centre is a real eye opener.
