Groome Terrace Picnic Area is situated overlooking the Avon River with shady trees and grassed areas perfect for family picnics.

BBQs and toilet facilities are opposite Apex Park where the children can play safely or perhaps stroll down the footpath along the river stopping to feed the swans.
