Melville Discovery Centre

Melville Discovery Centre is located inside the City of Melville Civic Building, Almondbury Street, Booragoon.

The City of Melville is extending its commitment to collecting and preserving historical information and artefacts through the municipal museum, the Melville Discovery Centre.

The focus of the museum is to collect materials that relate specifically to the history of Melville, its suburbs, people, places, events and development.

The museum offers glimpses of Melville's history, from early settlement right through to modern suburbia. In particular, the collection embraces much of the post World War II period, when Melville really began to develop and grow into what we see today.
