Ledge Picnic Site is a popular picnic site with great views overlooking Mundaring Weir wall to the dam and the Lower Helena Valley. It is home to many different plant types and is especially good for wildflowers in spring.
Facilities include BBQs, toilet, and a display shelter. The Bibbulmun Track, 1000km award-winning walk trail from Kalamunda to Albany, can be accessed from here and leads east to Mundaring Weir and west to Hewett's Hill campsite/shelter and on to Kalamunda.
