Western Range Wines

Western Range Wines is a state of the art 2000 tonne capacity winery built in 2000. Approximately 1 hours drive from Perth city, our first production was vintage 2001, and in its very first year, produced award-winning wines. From there our Branded Wines have flourished winning very many trophies, awards, medals over the past 10 years. James Halliday rates us as a FIVE star winery.

Just under an hour northeast of Perth, the Chittering Valley is far-removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its gently rolling hills form a tranquil backdrop to the myriad of orchards, farms and vineyards that dot the hillsides.

Situated up to 300 meters above sea level, the climate and soils of the Chittering Valley are quite different to those of nearby viticulture regions. The climate is typically Mediterranean with cold, wet winters and warm, dry summers.

Our cellardoor is open at the following times: Monday and Tuesday - Closed Wednesday to Sunday - 10am to 5.00pm

If you make an appointment in advance to visit our winery we will organise some nibbles and a tour of the winery as well.
