Casa Verde Alpine Retreat is a private, exclusive alpine villa set on 4.5 acres of private alpine forest. Deep in the heart of Cradle Country, it is just 20 minutes from Cradle Mountain.

Recently completed, Casa Verde is a spacious, stylish and contemporary, fully self contained alpine villa. The house features a large living area with full kitchen, bathroom, large verandahs, TV, DVD/CD player, laundry, beautiful, elegant furnishings and awesome views. As it is the only buiding on the property, you have the whole place to yourself.

Casa Verde Alpine Retreat is in an ideal location for hiking, canoeing and other outdoor activities. The Cradle Mountain area offers majestic scenery and many activities and the retreat being the ideal place to relax after a busy day.

Things to do: Whether you want to be active or quiet, you'll find many activities and local attractions to enjoy. From Nature walks in your own private forest to long treks in the Cradle Mountain National Park, there will be a walks to suit your requirements. Sightseeing and scenic drives are the norm in this area and you might like to partake of the local fare for which Tassie is famous: wine, cheese, chocolate, honey, salmon and trout, berries, to name a few. For the bushwalker, Casa Verde's convenient central location to major hiking areas provides a great range of choices. Mole Creek caves, Walls of Jerusalem, Leven Canyon and the region's many mountains allows you to see many aspects of spectacular Cradle Country area. You can also watch the abundant bird and wildlife which live locally.
Location: Casa Verde's central location means you have easy access to all key areas in this region. The rugged West Coast is just 1.5 hours drive through the spectacular Tasmanian Wilderness Area. One hour is all it takes to the North West coastal towns and beaches and to Devonport. Sheffield 'Town of Murals' is 30 minutes and Deloraine is also just 1 hour's travel through the heart of NW Tasmania. Launceston is 1.45 hours away and Hobart around 3.5 hours.
