The Bank Guest House offers historic bed and breakfast accommodation in the old bank of NSW in Wingham.

The Bank Guest House is an oasis of stylish accommodation and dining in the beautiful Manning Valley. Spacious & comfortable four star ensuite guest suites in a beautifully restored 1929 bank building or our self contained Maitland Cottage for longer stays.

The perfect stopover heading North or South or your starting point to explore the rainforests, river bends and stunning beaches surrounding the historic town of Wingham. Only 10 minutes from the Pacific Highway at the Taree turnoff.

Sumptuous country style breakfasts, gourmet picnic baskets and delicious dinners are served in Tellers restaurant or the guesthouse dining room. (Dinner needs to be booked in advance). Guests enjoy the peace and privacy of the guest library and lounge with DVD's, books and music or several outside courtyards to relax and perhaps try a local wine with accompanying local cheeses & olives.

Local Area: Taree and Manning Valley are home to national parks, state forests, rare subtropical rainforests, one of the largest drop waterfalls in the southern hemisphere and 40km of coastline providing a string of beautiful beaches. The historical town of Wingham is built around an English style central park and is the home of the Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival in May and the Akoostic music festival in October. Rodeos are held at the showground throughout the year. Community and growers markets are held in the area every Saturday. Wingham Brush is an old growth rainforest adjacent to the Manning River and is a significant habitat for the white faced flying fox. There is a boat ramp and swimming area at the river which is 300 metres from the Bank Guesthouse.
Functions: The Bank Guesthouse and Tellers Restaurant and function centre is the perfect venue for weddings, meetings, special events and functions. Several indoor and outdoor areas to choose from with catering from 10 to 60 people. Fully licenced with an in house function coordinator and accommodation for up to 15 people and overflow accommodation available at the nearby Wingham Motel.
