Tamar Otter Sanctuary

The Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre was originally established to re-home and breed the British Otter and reintroduce young otters back into the wild at a time when numbers in the wild were falling. Due to the success of this program the wild population is at a sustainable level and the reintroduction program is currently on hold.

The centre also offers a gift shop, a tea room (which serves sandwiches, cakes and scones), a picnic area, nature trail and a chance to feed the otters.
