Harmony House dates back to the 1700's yet has been sympathetically modernised retaining many original features. It is ideal for those wishing to be near York and surrounding attractions, yet set in a quiet, rural village.

The house has 2 rooms and a cottage annex which also can sleep up to 4 persons as a family room -self catering or room only.

The rooms have flat screen TV, wi-fi, and a mini fridge with fresh milk, water and juice. Coffee/ tea/ chocolate/ herbal teas/ ground coffee herbal teas and homemade biscuits are also in the rooms with 100% aloe vera products in the bathrooms. Evening meals are subject to availablitity and snacks are available on request.

Harmony House offers midweek dinner bed and breakfast specials and a residential cookery school break. All special diets catered for and snacks are available on request.

Special Features: A full cooked breakfast is offered with cereals,yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices and breads. All foods are locally procured as we are in the deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast scheme. Lighter alternatives are available such as scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a muffin, Mushroom, tomatoes and brie or bacon in a croissant or muffin, smoked haddock & poached egg or just poached egg on toast There are various pubs/restaurants nearby. Evening meals are available subject to availability from £15 Sample menus - Cheese souffle or salmon mousse, breast of chicken stuffed with leeks and ham with a wild mushroom sauce, or Beef stroganoff, Sticky Toffee pudding or Chocolate or lemon meringue roulade, coffee. Snacks - Paninis, homemade soups or lasagne & salad
Facilities: Harmony House cookery school offers residential mid week or weekend courses where delegates learn to cook with confidence from a Cordon Bleu cook trained at The Cordon Bleu School of Cookery in London
