Red Poles Restaurant/Gallery has successfully combined a fully licensed cafe/restaurant, art gallery and B&B under one roof.

Situated in the middle of a vineyard and on the tourist drive, Red Poles is the ideal location to spend a casual lunch, a lazy afternoon. Private functions are welcome and the ambient surroundings provide the perfect setting for a wedding.

Winner of the McLaren ValeBest New Business award in 2005 and again in 2006. In 2007 it was voted Best New Tourism Development in the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Tours: Red Poles Restaurant/Gallery has now introduced Wine/Art Tours in conjunction with Southern Spirit Limousines and Bus Company. Pick up can be a city or regional location and numbers can be from 2 to 50 people. Tours are designed to meet individual needs and interests and include lunch at Red Poles with the opportunity to view its art gallery and cafe area where the walls and cabinets are a vibrant mix of eclectic art! The Fleurieu region abounds with artists studios and galleries and its coastline and hinterland offers a visual tapestry of colour and scenic vistas. A wine tasting can be arranged at Red Poles. This tour enables interstate and international tourists a chance to experience a wonderful part of South Australia.
Things to do: Ros Miller established the Fleurieu Peninsula Art Trail in December 2005 and it has undergone a second reprinting and now represents some 20 studios and galleries throughout the Fleurieu. The Wine/Art Tour is a further extension of this trail and groups can go to Goolwa, Victor Harbor, Normanville, Yankalilla, Kangarilla, Hope Forest, Aldinga, Willunga and McLarenVale. Some wineries include art galleries. The Wine/Art Tour does not exclusively use only art trail members as destinations are often other spots with interesting one off exhibitions!
