The Woodpecker's goal has always been to offer a friendly atmosphere and quality drinks at reasonable prices. They have just undergone a major refurbishment and now boasts some of the best facilities in town.

The lounge/dance area has the very latest LCD lighting, which can softly change through the colours of the rainbow, to create that perfect relaxing mood for a drink with friends. Never fear though, if you like to party the lighting will also go "Light to Sound", so you have the perfect environment for dancing the night away.

With it's two 47 inch LCD screens and 6ft projector there's always a screen in view. Couple this with Sky Sports and Satanta Sports allowing almost every sporting event that can be screened.
