Finch Bay is a spectacular beach, surrounded by mountains accessible via Walker St, past the Botanical Gardens along a dirt track.
On the right side of the beach, the mouth of a small river is said to have crocodiles in it, this river separates the beach from the mountains, which extends far out and offers great spots to fish for barra and coral trout.
