Nine kilometres west of Nannup off the Mowen Road, Barrabup Pool is a natural formation in St. John's Brook, a perennial stream running into the Blackwood River.
Facilities include toilets, barbecues, picnic tables, swimming, canoeing, fishing and marroning in season.
Barrabup is the site of an old timber mill and town (1908). A concrete formation visible on the western side of Barrabup Pool Road is the Old Mill Office Strongroom, all that remains of a once-thriving town.
