Blinky Beach on the east side of Lord Howe Island is the place to go if you want to surf.

The long beach sits prettily between Blinky Point and a promontory known as Mutton Bird Lookout.

Near the beach is a Kentia Plantation and behind are dunes covered with spinifex, and, in spring, dotted with wild daisies.
