An old coaching inn with contemporary comforts, The General Tarleton Inn is in the pretty village of Ferrensby between York and Harrogate. Set in some of Yorkshire's loveliest scenery you will find a totally relaxed atmosphere and delicious award-winning food.
There are fourteen bedrooms, a covered courtyard, bar/brasserie and terrace garden plus plenty of car parking spaces - all adjoining open countryside.
The General Tarleton's bedrooms are equipped with the little extras to make your stay comfortable including tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities with home-made biscuits, flat screen tvs and wireless internet connection. The beds are dressed with crisp white linen and there are Molton Brown toiletries in the bathrooms.
Family owned and run the General Tarleton is famous for its food and especially the use of local produce - 75% of which comes from within a 30 mile radius of the inn.
