Yorkshire Dales Train Stations

The north and east of the North Yorkshire Dales area, around Swaledale, Richmond, Upper Wharfedale and Wensleydale, has no mainline train stations. Intercity trains are available at the nearby market towns of Northallerton and Thirsk, with connecting buses into the national park.

The west and south of the area, including Airedale, Lower Wharfedale, Nidderdale and Ribblesdale, is closer to the Leeds Metro system with trains running into the area along various local lines.
