Central Station

Central Station was originally a forestry township, these days this picturesque rainforest area houses a display explaining the development of Fraser Island and its flora and fauna.

This very popular rainforest provides a camping ground and picnic area along with a scenic boardwalk beside the banks of the Wanggoolba Creek.

Plantations of a variety of pine trees make the camping ground at Central Station the ideal spot for the holiday season.
