Located in the centre of Hawker, the Wilpena Panorama Complex is home to the world famous 360º Wilpena Panorama and Outback on Canvas panoramas.

Officially opened in 2003, the Wilpena Panorama depicts Wilpena Pound and surrounding ranges as viewed from St. Mary's Peak, the highest peak on the Pound. It is painted completely to scale and took 13 intense months to complete.

The Outback on Canvas panoramas are a series of outback scenes, and include Elder Range from Wonoka Station, Siller's Lookout - Arkaroola, and A Cooper Creek Sunset. All of the panoramas have been completed and an official opening date of the 26th of March, 2009 has been set.

The Wilpena Panorama and Outback on Canvas panoramas were painted by local and award winning artist Jeff Morgan. A large selection of Jeff Morgan original paintings and prints are also available in the complex, which showcases a large selection of Australiana books, jewellery, giftware, and much more!
