The Arakoon State Recreation Area has a sheltered crescent-shaped beach. The clear waters are perfect for families wanting to swim or fish.
There is also sailboarding and sailing available. Historical Trial Bay Gaol sits above the beach and provides beautiful panoramic views of the surrounds.
Camping areas, picnic spots, barbecues, walking, tracks, parking, amenities blocks and a kiosk are all provided.
