An expanding range of scheduled, charter and no-frills flights are available from Durham Tees Valley Airport*, Teesside. KLM provides scheduled flights to Europe and BMI baby budget airline added more destinations in early 2004.
The airport is located on the A67 halfway between Darlington and Yarm. Middlesbrough and Durham City are only 10 minutes and half an hour's drive from the airport respectively, via the A19 and A1(M) dual carriageways.
