The track, consisting of 2 main loops has a total length of approximately 11.5 kms.
The site was selected because of the peaceful nature of the area and because the high focal points on the hill give panoramic views of Griffith and the surrounding district.
Facilities include barbecues, picnic areas and toilet blocks.
The Hermits Cave can be approached via one of these tracks.
