The Moors Centre is our flagship visitor centre, set in an idyllic spot on the banks of the River Esk. From the doorstep, you can see pretty much everything that makes the North York Moors National Park so special: moorland, woodland, farmland, miles of hedges and drystone walls, historic buildings - all basking in glorious peace and quiet. The Centre is an all weather attraction with something for everyone including:
Arts and Crafts Gallery with regular exhibitions; Children's Indoor Climbing Wall; Riverside and Woodland Trails; Outdoor Play Area; Interactive exhibition; Indoor Puzzles and Games; Tearooms; Stunning Audio Visual; Outdoor Activities; Giant Willow Otter sculptures; Bird Hide; Gift Shop; Information Centre
Admission to the Centre and all the above attractions is absolutely FREE! There is plenty of pay and display parking or why not give the car a break and hop on board a Moorsbus?
