This beautiful gallery is framed by some simply stunning untreated, green oak beams creating a wonderfully light and airy space.
It plays host to regular exhibitions by contemporary arts and crafts people whose work is inspired by the breathtaking scenery of the North York Moors National Park, which is where the gallery is located.
Much of the work on display is for sale and the artists themselves are usually in residence during the exhibitions to chat about their work, techniques and inspirations. In addition, display cases around the gallery provide an insight to traditional moorland crafts and illustrate the links with their modern-day counterparts.
A touch screen within the gallery provides information on a wide range of artists studios and workshops within the National Park as well as local producers of food, drink and other goods.
