Garemount Lodge is an attractive lochside home, in large garden, with excellent views. The cottage sleeps 2 (max. 3) and has a large open-plan kitchen/living-room with loch views. The fully-equipped kitchen includes oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and double sofa bed. Also: TV, DVD, video, radio/CD-player, books and toys.

Upstairs the double-bedded room is furnished with an antique suite, has hairdryer, TV, clock/radio, plus panoramic Gareloch views. The adjoining bathroom has an over-bath shower and constant hot water. Cot or futon available. The owners provide bed linen, towels, gas central heating and electricity. Outside there's a patio, garden furniture and off-road parking.

Argyll and Bute is arguably Scotland's most scenic county with excellent road and rail links to the rest of the country. Garemount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring, located on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, a mile from the village of Rhu.

Garemount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland. We're on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, adjoining the Loch Lomond National Park, within an hour of Glasgow, Stirling, the Trossachs, Inveraray. The Clyde Submarine Base is a mile away, and the Victorian seaside town of Helensburgh (home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's masterpiece The Hill House) is four miles south.

In this area, you'll find golf (lots of courses, including the famous Loch Lomond Golf Club, home of the Scottish Open), sailing (the Royal Northern and Clyde Sailing Club is one mile away), riding, walking, fishing, watersports.
