At Ferntree Rainforest Lodge, we have accommodation to suit all travellers' needs. Choose between Ferntree Lodges (for a magical rainforest experience) or Ferntree Hostel (for the young at heart).

Garden Loft rooms are set amongst the manicured lawns and tropical gardens. Lofts are ideal for the budget conscious family (sleeping two adults, two children). 8 Poolside rooms offer a private balcony suitable for couples. Dorm and private cabins offer the budget traveller the perfect option to explore the wonders of the Daintree.

All visitors can enjoy the swimming pool, public kitchen, BBQ area, laundry, bar and entertainment area. The Cassawary Cafe & Bar for breakfast and dinner. A short walk you'll find the local 'town' consisting of a shop, chemist and bar for mingling with the locals and fellow travellers.

Further Information: Cassowary Cafe and Bar offers a casual and relaxed atmosphere in an attractive environment overlooking tropical gardens and the main pool. The main Indonesian building is complemented by two dining huts built into the rainforest and an outside deck area, adding to the ambience and wonder of the resort itself. Open daily for breakfast (continental buffet) and dinner (seasonal). Go bushwalking, horse riding, kayaking, snorkelling, jungle surfing, taste exotic fruits, enjoy rainforest walks by day or by night, crocodile cruises, fishing, bird watching, 4WD tours - or simply unwind in one of Australia's most beautiful, untouched settings.
Getting There: Coach transfers are available between Cairns and Cape Tribulation daily. Transfer time is approximately two and half hours each way. You are able to book these transfers through the hotel. For self drive: Leaving the Cairns Airport, head north towards and past/through Port Douglas & Mossman. Approx 30kms past Mossman, you will need to turn right towards the Daintree River Ferry Crossing. Join the vehicle ferry (approx AUD 20 return) as directed by ferry staff. After the ferry crossing, you have entered the Daintree National Park and as such, the road is windy and dark in places due to rainforest canopies - so drive slowly & with care. Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is located approximately 45 minutes drive after the ferry crossing, turn off at Camelot Close (off Cape Tribulation Rd).
