Peak District Trains

The area has excellent local train services with mainline links to London and the rest of the UK. Direct Intercity trains run to Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield and Matlock.

To visit the Peak District by train, the main nearby stations are Buxton, Chesterfield, Glossop, Matlock and Hope. Peak Rail run steam trains between Matlock, Rowsley and Darley Dale in the Peak National Park.
