Cooktown Golf Club is a public course situated five (5) kilometres south of Cooktown on Quarantine Bay Road. Turn off the Development Road (Mulligan Highway) before arriving in Cooktown, into Quarantine Bay Road. The golf course is well signposted.
Cooktown Golf Club is a nine hole course, with duel tees. Constructed on a natural sand belt, the course has been built in the tropical bush and that boarder Walker Bay and the Annan River. Located beside Monkhouse Point, with the imposing Mount Cook as a constant backdrop, the natural beauty of the surrounds make this links type course a must for golf adventurers and holiday makers alike.
There is also a licensed bar and golf shop!
Course is opened all year (excluding Xmas Day and Good Friday) from 7.00 am.
Hire clubs, buggies and motorized carts available.
