A lovely C17th farmhouse on the Broughton Castle Estate, just 3 miles from Banbury. Relax and unwind in very peaceful surroundings with beautiful views and walks.

A working livestock and arable 350 acre farm with cattle, sheep, hens and horses and sheepdogs. Awarded higher level Stewardship status for environmentally sensitive methods of farming. Some meadows are listed in the National Garden Scheme for their rare flowers, grasses and wildlife. Guests are welcome to wander and explore...

Choose from three rooms, all very comfortable with co-ordinating décor. Each room has a wash basin, armchair, tea tray, digital TV/DVD/radio, hairdryer, wi-fi access etc. The bath/shower room and separate toilet is shared. A delicious English breakfast with free-range eggs, local sausages and homemade preserves is served in a traditional Dining Room with log fire. In the summer you can relax in the garden with a coffee. For evening meals there are some excellent pubs in nearby villages.

Broughton Castle, featured in "Shakespear in Love" is only a mile away and open to the public from May to September. The market town of Banbury is 3 miles and the delights of Oxford, Stratford, Warwick and the Cotswolds are within easy reach by car. The nearest motorway is the M40 (J.11) 6 miles. Coach and rail services operate daily from Banbury.
