Romantic Vineyard provides a relaxing secret get away, situated on a beautiful 20 acre property in the Heart of the Goldfields in Amherst, Pyrenees Wine Region.

The self contained cottage is luxuriously appointed with a wood stove fireplace, low lighting with dimmers throughout,a luxurious king sized bed Austar total package TV and wireless internet. In addition to the cottage we have 2 rooms in the main house with shared ensuite, and our "Koala Cabin" for the kids. We can sleep 10. So get your friends and family together for a special get away. Relax by the outdoor fireplace, bush walks, pushbikes available and pony rides for the kids all complimentary For your enjoyment a great selection of wines are offered and the use of our Chefs Kitchen is available to all our overnight guests. Prepared meals are available upon request. Lay back and do nothing for a day and night. Special middle of the week rates available. Rent all accommodations for your group and get a 25% discount.

Details

Location: The vineyard is in a rural area but just 5 miles from the town of Talbot. It is very quiet and serene here. (We can hear a car coming from a mile down the road!) Pyrenees Wine Region is well renown for its scenic beauty and diversity of vineyards. We provide push bikes and trail maps. There are many tracks and bush trails right outside our gate. We also provide a driver for tours of the many Cellar Doors in our area. You can visit historical sites, old gold mining towns, art gallerys, old railroad stations and antique shops all within 15 kilometers of Romantic Vineyard.
Things to do: The largest quartz reef in the Southern Hemisphere is just a kilometer away. There are awesome views of the forest and Pyrenees from the top of the reef. There are dozens of dirt tracks right outside the Vineyard. Bring your push bikes or use ours. (We have 3 available). We now have a lively Cafe in town. (Just a 10 minute drive to Maryborough). We can provide transportation if you would like to indulge in some of the regions wine and boutique beers at the Cafe. There are also some great pubs with live music on the weekend for your enjoyment. Or just sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet at the Vineyard, and the use of the Chefs Kitchen. The famous Talbot Farmers Market is held the 3rd Sunday of the month. It boasts over 100 stalls with everything imaginable. Not to be missed!
