Old Bar Beach

Not overcrowded and out of holiday periods you can have parts of the beach all to yourself on some days.

Holiday Park adjoins the beach. During the summer holiday period (January) there's a great sand modelling competition promoted by the local newspaper and this has become a popular family activity.

There is an ideal walking distance between Old Bar Beach and Wallabi Point (2.5km).

Unique aspect of this beach is that it's located alongside a heritage listed airstrip so that flying enthusiasts can fly into an airstrip and then go to the beach.
