The Salisbury Plain and Swindon region has excellent road links to all of the UK, with the M4 passing south through Swindon. The M27 links to Kent, Sussex and the New Forest. Marlborough, north of Salisbury, is easily reached on the A338 via Tidworth. Between Marlborough and Trowbridge in the west are the small hamlets of Devizes and Pewsey, accessible via minor A-roads. The A350 joins Trowbridge, Chippenham and the towns of Warminster, Westbury and Shaftesbury to the south.
