Trains

The Brecon Beacons area has excellent local train services and links to London as well as the rest of the UK. Intercity services to Cardiff leave from London Paddington. Trains to Abergavenny depart hourly from Manchester Piccadilly.

Llandridod Wells and Llandovery Stations are on the branch line from Swansea and link there to main line, high speed trains from London, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Valley Lines Rail run the following routes, buses run from the train stations into to the Brecon National Park:
