The area is served by two main bus companies, First Group and Stagecoach Devon covering extensive routes with regular buses throughout the week.
The County Council provides 2 services popular with visitors:
The Dartmoor Sunday Rover bus and train services run every summer Sunday from 25th May to 21st September as well as Bank Holiday Mondays 26th May and 25th August, over Dartmoor.
The Jurassic Coast, X53 bus service route runs between Exeter, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Bridport, Abbotsbury and Weymouth.
