Trains

The Strathclyde, Ayrshire and Lanarkshire region has excellent train services with Glasgow, boasting the second largest suburban rail network in the UK. The west coast mainline has Intercity trains to London and the rest of the UK.

Glasgow has two main train stations, Central and Queen Street.

Paisley Gilmour Street Rail Station is closest to the airport and provides local train services. The suburban rail system and underground trains are a quick and cheap way to get around the city and surrounds.
