Buses

The area is served by two main bus companies, Arriva Buses and First Group Buses, on contract to Essex County Council. The Council publish bus timetables for all routes and services. Printed timetables are available from Tourist Information Centres. Online bus travel info is still scarce, but the council do provide an online journey planner - to use it you need to know where you are going so we have given a link to a map of all Essex bus routes. Separate maps are given for county wide bus services and some individual town maps.
